I started with Bone Dry Roofing in February of 2016, prior to coming here I worked with my family in the Roofing Industry where I supervised our Roofing Crews. Being in this industry for the last 10 years I have realized that I like running appointments, meeting new customers and helping to meet their needs. Bone Dry Roofing has a great work environment and BDR really cares about its employees and their customers. In my free time; I like to watch movies, play soccer and spend time with my family.
This customer had a roof leak simply due to shingles blown off by wind. Bone Dry Roofing removed the damaged shingles and installed new shingles to prevent any further damage inside the home.
We removed shingles and roofing material to replace a pipe boot on a plumbing stack. Our crews then Installed a new boot, ice and water guard, and installed new shingles to match existing shingles. The customer was very happy to have this job completed and not to have to worry about any leaks!!
Bone Dry Roofing removed the materials from around an electric boot on a home. We replaced with new electric boot, installed ice and water guard, added a second layer of ice and water guard, and replaced shingles with new shingles to match the already existing ones.
Bone Dry Roofing was called out to inspect and fix a valley on a roof where other companies had come out and done sub-par repair work. The before photo below shows where another roofing company used a coated material on their shingles to try and prevent leaking. This is only a temporary fix that will only last a few months. Bone Dry Roofing removed the section of the valley that was coated down to the deck and re-did flashings, added ice and water guard, and shingles.
This customer was in need of a fast repair, the roof was leaking over the garage due to significant shingle loss at this area. The area affected was not big enough to initiate an insurance claim because it was only on one slope and the cost to repair was less than the customers deductible. Bone Dry Roofing recognized that additional weather was coming in and in less than 24 hours, we had this repair completed, leaving the customer with a Bone Dry Roof!
Bone Dry Roofing was called out to find and fix leak in the ceiling of this customers bathroom. After a thorough inspection of the attic and on the roof, we were able to trace the leak to a plumbing stack and the pipe boot on it. Pipe Boots typically last 5-10 years and then the neoprene gasket cracks or tears. We removed the old pipe boot and install a layer of ice and water guard on the roof deck, installed a new pipe boot with a second layer of ice and water guard on the boot and then we installed shingles to match the existing roof as closely as possible.
Bone Dry Roofing was called out to inspect an older style of aluminum style of ridge vent. Upon inspection, we discovered numerous leaks and even birds being able to enter into the attic, creating nests. Bone Dry Roofing updated the ridge vent by adding Owens Corning Ventsure Ridge Vent and Driftwood Cap shingles to match the customers existing roof. Leaving this home water tight, bird free and updated.
The before and after photos of this repair shows how a few missing Ridge Cap Shingles can cause internal issues inside the home. Bone Dry Roofing inspected this home and discovered the reasons why this home was leaking...the Ridge Shingles were missing. We replaced a section of Ridge Vent and the Ridge Shingles.
These pictures show the before and after where a leak was occurring where a roof line meets a sidewall of the house. We pulled the siding off and installed ice and water guard, shingles and flashing and then put it all back together...leaving this customer Bone Dry!
If you are missing 1 or many shingles due to high winds, Bone Dry Roofing can help repair them or even assist you with an insurance claim. The Photos represent a customer who had a few shingles blown-off and the repair we did to help fix the situation.
